New John Carter Featurette Focuses on Dejah Thoris

With just over two weeks left before Edgar Rice Burrough’s classic sci-fi hero, John Carter, arrives in theaters, Walt Disney Pictures has released a new featurette from the epic adventure focusing on Carter (Taylor Kitsch) and Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). Check it out in the player below!

Directed by Andrew Stanton, the March 9th release also stars Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Hayden Church and Willem Dafoe.

John Carter tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.
