Sentai Filmworks Adds Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere II

Share

North American anime licensor Sentai Filmworks announced on Friday that it acquired the Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere II television anime series. The anime will soon be available digitally, with a home video release on DVD BD to follow in 2013.

Sentai Filmworks licensed the series’ first season last year.

Based on the eight-book series by Minoru Kawakami, the ecchi sci-fi story takes place in a distant future. Inhabitants created a history book called “Testament” and follow its contents to reproduce the events in history. After retrieving Horizon from the Testament Union following the Mikawa Uprising, Tori and the others seek out the Armor of Deadly Sins, Horizon’s emotions, and head for their next destination, the floating isle, England, on board their flying city-warship, Musashi. However, Tres España is also beginning to sail for the Battle of the Armada.

Crunchyroll announced at Anime Expo on Friday that it will stream the series as it airs in Japan.
