Manga creator Gengoroh Tagame reported on his blog last month that an English translation of his short comic “Standing Ovations” was published in English in the third volume of Thickness (link may not be safe for work), a North American independent erotic comics collection.
This short marks the first English-language publication of Tagame’s work, ahead of the upcoming collection The Passion of Gengoroh Tagame: Bara Master, which will be published by PictureBox in 2013. Tagame is known for his work in bara manga, erotic comics featuring, and primarily aimed at, gay men.
